The AdminCP's Report Center.

The report center has three Admin CP pages:

Overview

Plugin Manager

Status and Severity Levels

They provide tools and setting to control the Report Center. For more information on how to use the Report Center as a moderator, see this article.

Overview

This page allows you to see information such as the total number of reports and the most active moderators.
There is also a button which will take you to the Warning and Moderation settings page.

Plugin Manager

The Report Center accepts reports from the various areas of your community through "plugins". For example, there is a:

Forum Plugin
Which handles reporting posts.

Private Messages Plugin
Which handles reporting PMs.

Member Profiles Plugin
Which handles reporting member profiles.

Add-on applications such as IP.Blog, IP.Gallery or even third-party applications can add plugins to the Report Center as well.

You can enable/disable any plugin by clicking the icon in the "Enabled" column. If a plugin is disabled, the Report Center will not accept reports from that area of your community and attempting to submit one will result in an error message. All available report plugins on our community are enabled.

You can configure setting for any plugin by selecting "Edit Settings..." from the dropdown menu for a plugin. Each plugin includes setting for who can view and who can submit reports.
Some plugins may handle moderator permissions themselves (for example, in the forums, you can set forum-level moderators, and the Report Center by default will allow these forum-level moderators access to reports from the forums they are moderators of) and thus will also include a "Super moderators can view all the reports?" setting, which if set to yes, will allow super moderators to see all reports for that plugin but if set to no, will only use their own permission system.

Each plugin may also include additional settings. For example, the "Private Messages Plugin" has a "Groups that can add themselves to conversations" setting, so you can control who can add themselves to a reported conversation.

Register New Plugin
This is a tool for developers only. You needn't ever use this section. When you install an application with a Report Center plugin, it will be added automatically.

Status and Severity Levels

Each report has a status and a severity. The status refers to the state of the report: for example, open or complete. The severity is a marker given to the report which indicates how long it has been open. A report increases in severity with the more points it gets.

Statuses
The default statuses are New Report, Under Review and Complete. You can manage a status by choosing "Edit Status..." from its dropdown, or add a new one by pressing "Create New Status".

Each status has a name (for example, New Report) and two settings which control severities: "Points per report" and "Minutes to one point".
The "Points per report" is how many points a report with that status starts with, while the "Minutes to one point" controls how many minutes it should be until a point gets added (for example, if this was set to 5, the report would gain1 point every 5 minutes it is open).

Each status can also be defined as a "New Report", and/or "In Progress" or "Completed".
The "New Report" status is the status that newly submitted reports will be assigned. There can only be one "New Report" status.
The "In Progress" status is any status that should display on the active reports counter in the header of your community. You can have any number of "In Progress" statuses.
The "Completed" status is the status that completed reports will be marked as. There can only be one "Completed" status.

You can toggle any of these by clicking the toggle on the status page. If the setting is on, the icon will be lit up, otherwise, it is grayed out. You can also reorder statuses by clicking and dragging on the reorder icons. The order will display the order the severities apply int he dropdown menus within the Report Center.

Severities
Each status handles severities separately from the other statuses. To add a severity for a status, select "Add Image..." from the status's dropdown.

Each severity has an image which will display for it in the Report Center, along with the width and height values for that image, and the number of points required for the severity.
For example, if you add a severity with a 50 points requirements, that severity will be assigned once the report reaches 50 points.

You can edit or delete a severity using the appropriate options from its dropdown
